We create bespoke woodcraft items for people who care about sustainability and quality.
We are Allan and Becky, a couple living in North Essex who share a passion for woodworking and a keen interest in making our world a kinder and more sustainable planet.
The lockdown of 2020 brought furlough (a new word in everyone’s vocabulary now) and gave us time on our hands, time to think, do and make! We needed to keep busy and productive. Like many others, we felt the need to try and be as self-sufficient as we could, like Tom and Barbara Good (showing our age here now).

Although our careers have recently been in IT and hospitality, Allan’s woodworking background and skills have never gone unused; keeping a small hobby, woodshop going and handcrafting bespoke furniture and toys for friends and family over the years.
Towards the end of 2020, our thirst for more information about ethical and regenerative farming coupled with our passion for woodworking; resulted in a desire to produce beautiful handcrafted gifts for others, emphasising recycled, upcycled and sustainably sourced materials. Decisions for life Post-Covid were made, and so Westborn Woodcraft was born.
